Help!!! We need volunteers-AYSO is an all volunteer organization.

"It is one of the most beautiful compensations in this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself"-Ralph Waldo Emerson

When parents help out, everyone wins! As you may already know, AYSO is an all volunteer organization. With every new season comes a need for your help as a volunteer. You can help out today by becoming a coach, referee, board member or team parent. There is also a need for registration helpers, snack shack manager and field maintenance. If you are interested in donating your time and energy fill out a volunteer form @ http://www.eayso.com/. Open board positions can be viewed under Region 94 Directors tab. To inquire about volunteering, contact  Region 94 @ (562) 690-1200 or use the contact us tab to email.

During the season each team must help with the snack shack, fields or picture day. All teams will be assigned a day and time to volunteer. We will continue the use of volunteer points, each hour of volunteer time is one point (per volunteer). If your team completes 8 hours of service your team gets $50 (reimbursed for any team expense).

Volunteer Protection

All volunteers must also complete Safe Haven Certification which can be done online! The Volunteer Protection Act of 1997 provides certain legal protections for volunteers who have been trained and certified, and act in accordance with a written job description. Safe Haven has these three elements, giving volunteers the highest degree of protection available under the law.

Referee Job 2:  Referee Scheduler

Referee Job 6:  Referee Assessor

Responsibilities:  Responsible for doing formal observations and assessments of referees requesting to upgrade their badge level.  This person will be required to take and pass the “Referee Assessor” course.  This job may be combined with the Referee Mentor, Referee Trainer, or Referee Administrator position.
